After talking to Professor Oak, the player is given a starter Pokemon, which is a Pokemon that is not normally found in the game. The player then sets out on their adventure and begins to explore the region. Along the way, the player will encounter different Pokemon and battle them in battle. The player can also capture Pokemon and train them to be stronger. The player can also find items that can be used in battle or to help them on their quest.
