The game is set shortly after the end of the original series. The Federation has been threatened by the Klingons and the crew of the Enterprise must travel to the planet Qo’noS to stop them from conquering the galaxy. The game is played from a third person perspective and uses a point and click interface. The player controls the characters of the Enterprise crew as they explore the planet and fight against the Klingons. The game is very similar to the original Star Trek game that was released for the Commodore 64. However, the graphics have been updated and the game is much more challenging.

In the 23rd century, the Federation is at war with the Klingons. The Federation has developed a powerful new weapon, the Star Trek device, which can destroy enemy ships. The device is tested on the Klingon homeworld, but the Klingons manage to destroy it. The Federation is desperate to find a way to stop the Klingons. They send a team of astronauts to the planet Qo’noS to find the Klingons’ leader, Korrd. The team is led by Captain James T. Kirk. Kirk and his team find Korrd, but they are captured by the Klingons. Korrd wants to use the Star Trek device to destroy the Federation, but Kirk and his team are able to stop him..
