Dead to Rights is an action-adventure game for the PlayStation 2. It was developed by Capcom and published by Activision. The game was released in November 2002. The game is set in a fictional world of the future, in which crime has become so rampant that the government has created a special unit to deal with the problem. The player controls Jack Slate, a member of this unit, as he tries to take down the criminal masterminds who are responsible for the city’s problems. The game is played from a third-person perspective, and the player can control Jack Slate using the analog stick and the buttons on the controller. Jack Slate can use a variety of weapons to fight his enemies, and he can also use his fists to knock out enemies or pickpocket them. The player can also use Jack Slate’s special abilities to fight against the enemies. Dead to Rights was well-received by critics. GameSpot praised the game for its graphics and gameplay, and IGN called it one of the best action games on the PlayStation 2.
