God of War II is a game that tells the story of Kratos, a man who has been betrayed by his family and is now out for revenge. The game is set in a world of Norse mythology and follows Kratos as he battles against gods and monsters in order to get his revenge. The game is very action-packed and features some of the best graphics ever seen on a console. The game is also very challenging and can take many hours to complete.

The game opens with Kratos, the protagonist, being dragged before Zeus, the king of the gods. Zeus has decided that Kratos must fight the god of the underworld, Hades, in order to prove his worth as a god. Kratos is reluctant to fight, but Zeus insists. Kratos travels to the underworld and fights his way through hordes of undead creatures and demons. He eventually reaches Hades’ throne room. Hades is unimpressed by Kratos’s fighting skills and challenges him to a final battle. Kratos defeats Hades and is rewarded with the ability to rule the underworld. He returns to Olympus and tells Zeus that he no longer needs his protection. Zeus is angry at Kratos for rejecting his help and banishes him from Olympus. Kratos wanders the earth for a while, until he is captured by the Spartan army and taken to Sparta. Kratos is forced to fight in the Spartan army and eventually becomes its leader. The game ends with Kratos leading the Spartan army into battle against the Athenian army. Kratos defeats the Athenians and is hailed as a hero. He returns to Olympus and is welcomed back by Zeus..
