The team is quickly overwhelmed, and the only hope for survival is to find a way to retreat and regroup. As they make their way back to their base, they are met by a group of heavily armed mercenaries. The two groups clash, and in the ensuing battle, the Headhunters are quickly defeated. As they lay dying on the ground, the team’s leader, John, has a final thought: I’m sorry, my friends. I didn’t make it out alive. With that, the team’s spirits are broken, and they give up on their quest to stop the world’s criminals. The city is now a lawless place, and the Headhunters’ legacy will be remembered as a failed mission..
