The game begins with Aang and Katara being captured by the Fire Nation. Sokka, Toph, and Zuko go to rescue them, but are captured themselves. Aang and Katara are taken to the Fire Lord’s palace, where they are to be executed. However, Aang is able to use the Avatar State to defeat the Fire Lord and his troops. Aang and Katara then escape and return to the Western Air Temple. Meanwhile, Sokka, Toph, and Zuko are being held in a prison on the other side of the world. Sokka and Toph are able to escape, but Zuko is recaptured. Zuko is then taken to the Fire Lord’s palace, where he is to be executed. However, Zuko is able to use the Avatar State to defeat the Fire Lord and his troops. Zuko then escapes and returns to the Western Air Temple. Aang and Katara then travel to the Northern Air Temple to find Zuko. They are then able to defeat the Fire Lord and his troops. Aang and Katara then return to the Western Air Temple. Sokka, Toph, and Zuko then travel to the Southern Air Temple to find Aang.
