Robotech – Battlecry

Robotech – Battlecry is a Playstation 2 game based on the Robotech television series. The game is set in the year 2029, three years after the end of the Second Robotech War. Earth is in a state of disarray, with the remnants of the UN forces and the Robotech Defense Force struggling to keep the peace. The game follows the story of two friends, Max and Sarah, as they travel across the country in an attempt to find their father, who disappeared during the war.

In the year 2084, the Robotech War has raged for over a decade. The Earth Defense Forces (EDF) and the Invid forces have fought a bloody battle on many fronts, but the war has taken a toll on both sides. The EDF has been forced to retreat from many key positions, and the Invid have begun to gain the upper hand. In an attempt to turn the tide of the war, the EDF launches a daring new strategy: a massive assault on the Invid home world, known as the Battlecry. Led by General Jack O’Neill and his elite unit, the Robotech Masters, the EDF forces launch a daring assault on the Invid home world. The battle is fierce, but the EDF forces manage to break through the Invid defenses and reach the heart of their empire. In the end, the EDF forces triumph, and the Invid are defeated. This victory is a turning point in the war, and it sets the stage for the final battle against the Invid. The Robotech War is finally over..
