The game starts with you choosing your character. You can choose from a variety of different Shaman Kings, each with their own unique abilities and fighting style. The game begins with the main character, Ryota, waking up in a hospital. He has no recollection of what happened to him and is worried about his friends and family. Suddenly, he has a vision of a girl in a white dress who tells him to find the Shaman King. Ryota is skeptical at first, but decides to go along with the vision.
