Silent Hill – Shattered Memories for PS2
The game begins with Harry Mason waking up in a hospital bed with no recollection of what happened to him. He is soon joined by his wife, Cheryl, and daughter, Heather, who tell him that he was in a car accident and suffered serious injuries. Cheryl tells Harry that she had a dream about him being in danger and that’s why she drove to the hospital. Harry is confused and doesn’t remember anything about the accident. A few days later, Harry is released from the hospital and begins to piece together what happened to him. He remembers that he was in a car accident, but doesn’t remember what happened after that. He also remembers a dream he had about being in danger, but doesn’t know what it means. Harry begins to investigate his memories and discovers that he has a past with the town of Silent Hill. In his past, he was a detective investigating the disappearances of people in the town. One day, he was investigating a building when he was attacked by a monster. The monster killed him and he woke up in the hospital with no recollection of what happened. Harry begins to remember fragments of his past and realizes that the monster in his dream was a manifestation of his fear from his past. He also realizes that.
