The USMNT is coming off a disappointing loss to Guatemala in its opening match of the tournament. The USMNT is playing without its captain, Landon Donovan, who is serving a one-game suspension for his red card in the Guatemala match. Donovan is replaced in the starting lineup by Brad Davis. The USMNT starts the match strong, with Michael Bradley and Clint Dempsey scoring in the first 10 minutes. But Colombia begins to take control of the match, and the USMNT falls behind by two goals. The USMNT comes back to tie the match in the second half, but falls short in the end, losing 3-1. The team will need to improve if it wants to make it out of the group stage..
