The game is set in the year 2256 and the Federation is in a war with the Klingons. You play as a member of the Federation and you have to stop the Klingons from taking over the galaxy. The game is played in a third person perspective and you have to use your weapons and your skills to stop the Klingons.

The Federation starship Enterprise is on a routine mission to explore a new sector of space when they are contacted by a strange vessel. The ship, which appears to be from an unknown species, requests to speak with the captain of the Enterprise. The captain, who is unfamiliar with the vessel’s appearance, decides to allow the ship to board. Once on board, the crew of the Enterprise begins to experience strange phenomena. They are suddenly attacked by strange creatures, and the ship is quickly taken over. The captain is forced to take the ship into battle against the creatures, and eventually manages to defeat them.
