Samurai Shodown! 2 is a fighting game developed by SNK and published by SNK Playmore. It was released in arcades in 1998 and for the Neo Geo Pocket Color in 2003. It is the sequel to the original Samurai Shodown! and the first game in the Pocket Fighting Series. The game features a single-player mode and a two-player mode. In the single-player mode, the player controls one of eight characters and must defeat opponents in a series of matches. In the two-player mode, the player can choose one of the eight characters and compete against another player. The game features a variety of moves and combos, as well as a variety of weapons. The player can also use items to attack their opponents, and can block and counterattack.
